My Last Preschool Concert
Earlier this month I had my last preschool Christmas concert. We had been practicing for weeks and it was exciting to be able to perform in front of everyone. As well as a Christmas concert, this was also my graduation from preschool because I will be starting primary school next year!
After we performed some Christmas songs, it was time for us to receive our graduation certificates!

Cooling Off
I've been to the city a bit lately. We always get the train when we go. I like going on the train. Recently when we've gone in it's been very hot. Luckily there is a good place in Darling Harbour to cool off. It's got lots of place to get wet!
Here I am with another visit on a hot day.
Since it is close to Christmas we also saw some Christmas things, like all of these Santa's floating in the water!
And this was the giant christmas tree made out of lego. There was also a big Santa and his sleigh made from Lego too.

Comfy iPad
You probably already know this but I love playing the iPad. I've got a few games that I like to keep playing and I'm really good at them. When I play the iPad I like to get really comfy. It's important to be comfortable because I need to concentrate really hard for some games. That means that sometimes I need to squash into weird positions. These are some of my best ones.

Off to See Some Bricks
A couple of weeks ago Daddy took Emma and I to a special Lego show. It was for a fundraiser for a school and they had the master builders display some of their best creations.
There was lots of cool Lego things to see like this enormous Hogwarts castle from Harry Potter. It would've taken a long time to build!
This was also a scene from the Lego movie.
There was also a big Lego city in the middle that even had a working train.
And of course there was Star Wars!

A Spring Time Dip
It's nice that it is spring now. It's not freezing any more and sometimes we have really warm days. Recently we went for a visit to Cronulla on one of those warm days. It was so warm that I actually wanted to get into the water. Emma went in for a swim as well.
It was a little bit cold at first and you can hear me in the video doing funny voices because of the cool water but I got used to it.
After some hard work building sand castles and playing at the park, it was time for a well deserved ice cream. The flavour I ate was bubblegum. Can you tell?

My New Sport
A few weeks ago I started on my next new sport - Tee-Ball! It has a tee with the ball on the top and you have to hit it as hard as you can. I'm good at hitting the ball. I'm super fast at running too.
Here's me in my uniform. I'm playing for St Pats.
Here's an action shot of me hitting the ball. We have to wear helmets when we are batting.
And this is a short video to show how fast I can run after I hit the ball.
Did you know that there are a lot of sports that I want to try? I think some of them look pretty cool and it would be fun to give them a go. Next I want to try basketball and tennis!

Soccer Rocket
In case you didn't know, I have been playing soccer on Saturday mornings during Winter. I play for the team called North Sutherland Rockets and it is called nursery soccer. We play different games to teach us soccer skills and sometimes we all play a real game. It can get pretty cold on some mornings so luckily I can run really fast to get warmed up.
A few weeks ago was the last day of the season. We did some practice and then played a few games. I had a little fall in this one, can you see it in the video? I was alright though and got back up and kept playing.
Here are all the kids that I played with.
We also got awards at the end for playing well!

Happy 5th Birthday to Me! - Part 2
Here is the fallout of my birthday. I ended up getting a lot of presents, I was a lucky boy!
I wanted to go to Sizzler for my birthday lunch so we went there. Lots of people came - Nanna, Grandad, Uncle Brian, Dione, James and Charlotte. I got to drink lots of lemonade because you could keep refilling your cup. I had special birthday cupcakes that Dione had made me. I had to keep blowing because the candles wouldn't go out!
Once we finally got home I was very keen to build the new Lego set that I got. I've been wanting to get this one for a long time.
Here's a little video showing how excited I got when I opened some of my presents on the day before my birthday. You can also see me trying out the spy tank that I got too.
I have been informed that there was a slight error in my 5th birthday slide show. I must've been so excited putting it all together that I didn't realise that the last slide was wrong. It was supposed to be my new preschool photo, so here it is:

Happy 5th Birthday to Me!
It's my birthday! Today I become a 5 year old. It's been very exciting to count down to this day. I think I started counting many months ago.
I'm sure it will be a big day and I will update you soon with the aftermath of my birthday.
For this special day I've made a slideshow of photos that show how I've changed over the last 5 years.

Real Bowling
This week and next week is school holidays and that means that I don't go to preschool and Emma doesn't go to school. Daddy took some time off work and has been looking after us while mummy is at work. A few days ago we went bowling. It was pretty exciting because I haven't been real bowling before, I've only played it on the Wii.
I had no idea how heavy the bowling balls were! Once I worked out how to throw them, I was off. I managed to knock down the pins lots of times. Emma and Daddy did some good bowling too. I loved bowling so much that I definitely want to do it again!
Here's a video of some of our bowling. I kept running back after my bowl so I could look at the screen and see my score. After bowling we had some tokens to use on the games that were there. I had fun helping Emma on the basketball game.

Feel Like Dancing
Sometimes when I hear a song that I really like, I have to dance. I get really excited. The video below will explain what I mean. It was my favourite song. When I heard it, I just let my body take over!

Timelapse Time!
One of the things I like to do is a timelapse video of when I build my Lego sets. It makes everything go really fast and looks cool.
The first one I did was during the build of my Lego Movie Ice Cream truck set. This was a cool set because it can switch between an ice cream truck and an ice cream ship that shoots ice cream!
The second one I built was the Lego Star Wars turbolaser. This is a small set and I was able to build this pretty quickly.

Vivid Lights
Last week we went on a special trip into the city at night time to see the Vivid lights. It was cool there were lights everywhere and it was very colourful. We went for a walk up to the Opera House and then back around the other side. We also had dinner in the city.
This was my favourite section. You could run around on these lights and they would change colour and spin around when you step on them. Emma and I ran around them all to make them change.
This was the cool light spinner that I got.
Here is me and Emma in front of the Opera House. See how it is all lit up?

Happy Star Wars Day
Did you know that the 4th of May is called Star Wars day? Recently, Daddy told me why. It's because you can say 'May the fourth be with you'! I thought it was very funny when I found out.
For Star Wars day Daddy and I went to a shopping centre that was very far away to see a giant lego Darth Vader and Yoda getting built. I was even able to help build one of the pieces!
Another thing that I like to play is Minecraft. It's an xbox game where you can build everything out of blocks. Here are some of the blocks that I have. It took Daddy a while to put all of these together.

Happy Easter!
Happy Easter everyone! I hope the Easter bunny came to visit you. He certainly came to see me and Emma because we have lots of yummy chocolate eggs!
It was very exciting in the days leading up to Easter because we did a lot of Easter activities at preschool. One of those activities was making our hats for the Easter hat parade. Daddy, Nanna and Grandad came to watch us perform. I was very excited when I saw them in the crowd!
Do you like my Easter hat? The ears got a little bit droopy.

My Lego Review - Batman Helicopter Chase
I've been wanting to do another Lego review recently so here's my review of my Lego Batman Helicopter Chase set. It's got Batman in the Batwing who is chasing the Joker in a helicopter. It's a cool set and I like to play with it and pull it apart a lot so I can build it again.

Kicking Goals
Last weekend was very exciting because I started nursery soccer! This was a bit different to soccer joey's because we play outside on a real soccer field.
I was very fast and did some good kicking. I managed to score 8 goals. I remember because I was keeping count the whole time. After I scored a few I had to run over to mummy and daddy to get high fives.
First we did some warm ups and had to run around and chase the coach.
Here's me doing some practice kicks. I'm about to score a goal!
It was very fun and I was pretty worn out by the end of it. I can't wait to go again next week!

Our Queensland Holiday - Part 4
After our adventures on the Gold Coast, we drove up to stay at Grandma and Grandpop's place. I did some swimming in the pool and liked to feed all the birds that came to the balcony. I even got to see big lizards as well.
Grandpop took us fishing and Emma and I caught lots of fish! Daddy only caught one. Grandpop was a good helper because I didn't like touching the fish.
It can be very exciting being at Grandma and Grandpop's place so sometimes I just need to find a place to rest. They have nice big comfy chair that are perfect for sleeping in.
Leftovers
Here are some leftover photos from some of the other things we got up to on our holiday.
This one was from the fancy dress day at Paradise Resort. Everybody was dressed up and we went on a parade.
Here is Emma under the big bucket. She is about to get soaked!
During our stay at the resort they had a couple of outdoor movie nights. Luckily for us we could see the big screen from our balcony, so mummy and daddy managed to set my bed up outside so we could lie down and watch the movie!
The resort also had a place where you could skate on the ice. I was really excited to try this. It was much harder than it looks, it's very slippery.
Here's a little video of me skating with Daddy. He saved me from falling over.
This is one of the games that we played by the pool. We were in teams and we had sponges. We had to fill up the sponges with water and empty them in our cup. It was extra tricky because we had to balance something on our head at the same time.
This was one of my favourites. Giant connect 4!
And this is us after sliding down the viking slide at Sea World. We got a bit wet!

Our Queensland Holiday - Part 3
The next place we visited on our holiday was Movie World. I was really excited for this one because there were going to be superheroes there!
This photo was at the beginning. The rollercoaster behind me is called the Superman escape. It looked very scary and fast. There were lots of big scary rides there. Mummy and Emma went on some of them.
We found Batman pretty quickly. He looked a bit scary at first but that's because he's looking out for baddies.
Here is me with that crazy coyote. I love watching him trying to catch the roadrunner.
Emma went on the tweety bird ride with me. See how it looks like tweety's cage?
On the next ride I got to drive a car! It was fun and a bit tricky. Sometimes I crashed into the wall.
Here you can see I'm about to hit the wall.
We ended up buying superhero capes so we could be superheroes. I got the Flash and Emma got Wonder Woman. I think I am the Flash because I can run really fast. Can you see the other superheroes in the photo?
Then we saw the batmobile. It was very big.
It was a very busy day at Movie World so then it was time to go back to the hotel for a relaxing swim. Stay tuned for my part 4 update of our holiday!

Our Queensland Holiday - Part 2
Here's some photos from our visit to Sea World. We ended up going there over 2 days because there was a lot to see and do. Lucky we brought the stroller because there was a lot of walking around.
It was very sunny up in Queensland so I always needed my hat and sunnies.
There were lots of rides to go on at Sea World. Emma went on some of them with me. She likes to go on the fast rollercoasters but she still went on the little ones with me.
There was a special island there that was full of big dinosaurs. It was really cool. They moved and made sounds when you walk past them. Sometimes I thought they were real!
This is me with my friend George. His family were in Queensland for a holiday as well.
It was so hot there that I really needed to cool down. The best way to do that was to put my face straight into the water.
There were pools where you could touch the things in them. I could touch a starfish in these ones. They were a bit slimey.
This ride was the pirate boats. I went on it twice. It goes around on a track and everyone has water cannons. We were trying to wet everybody. I went on it with Daddy and again with Mummy.
This one was while we were waiting for the dolphin show to start.
I went on this ride with Daddy and Emma. It was a boat that went around a track and then down a big slide. It went fast! Daddy pulled a silly face on the way down.

Our Queensland Holiday - Part 1
A few weeks ago we all went on a holiday to Queensland. I was so excited leading up to it. We went in Daddy's car. It was a long drive but luckily I kept very busy on the ipad.
The first stop on the drive was at a place called Nambucca Heads. It had a nice swimming pool that I went swimming in. I did very good swimming and lots of jumping into the pool. We went for a walk along the water (Emma and I were scooting) and we found that all of the rocks had paintings on them. I had to stop to check some of them out.
The next day we were back in the car again. Queensland really is a long way away. We stopped at a place that had a really big castle. We ate yum pancakes for lunch.
This was a really big knight!
After a bit more driving we finally made it to the resort. It was so cool. This was the view from our balcony. You can see the water park.
This big climbing thing was in the resort lobby.
We also went exploring in the kids club. It was very big. We found the Karts and I had to get on one and go for a ride. It was a bit tricky.
Emma even found a big one to try.
We couldn't wait to go and get wet. It was very warm in queensland so the water was nice. This water thing had a big bucket on the top that tipped over every time it filled up.
The next part will be about our trip to Sea World!

School Holidays
After Christmas it was still school holidays. Daddy took some time off work. We got to do lots of things.
The first thing to do was wash Daddy's car before our big drive for our holiday. I was a very good helper with the hose.
Washing the car reminded me that I should probably wash my cars as well.
During the week we all went to the city on the train. We visited the Opera House. I remembered that building because Emma has a Lego model of it.
At Daddy's place we played a lot. Here is Emma being a scientist and making slime.
I decided to play as pirate batman!
We also went to the movies to see the walking with dinosaurs movie. I saw this poster at the movies. Can you see me as lego Jack?
It was also a good time to play board games. We got Mouse Trap for Christmas and I love playing it.
I got invited to a birthday party for my preschool friend Kohen. It was a gymbus party. That means there is a really big bus that you can play inside. It was a hot day.
As you can see I like to get real close to the action. It was a Lego cake.
The next day we left for our holiday to Queensland. I'll put some photos of that up soon!

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas everyone!
I know I'm a bit late but I wanted to show you more than just Christmas day.
Leading up to Christmas I was getting into the Christmas spirit. I loved opening advent calendars every day. Sometimes I would wake up early just so I can open the next day.
Firstly we had to visit Santa so I could tell him what I would like.
At preschool we had been learning some songs and dances for a Christmas performance. We performed it in front of lots of people. I could see Daddy and Nanna in the crowd watching us. I had my special Santa hat with my name on it that Uncle Brian gave me.
And finally it was Christmas day! Santa only came to visit Daddy's place so Emma stayed here too. It was so exciting there were lots of presents!
One of the presents I got was a new remote control car from John. The next day I had to take it out and play it. It's so cool and very fast. It was a bit tricky to steer it but I'm getting good at it now. I loved driving it into Daddy's feet and making him run around.
Also after Christmas it was time to smash the gingerbread house that Nanna had made. This was the fun part because I could do all the smashing. I gave it a good go.
