Ho ho ho Merry Christmas! Today was a very exciting day. Santa came to visit overnight and left lots of presents for me and Emma. I forgot that he was coming though, and I slept in - whoops!
Emma tried showing me how to unwrap the presents and I tried a bit, but it was easier if I could get someone else to do it for me. I got a cool red car that I just love to sit in and get pushed around in. I can even eat my dinner in there.
During all the unwrapping of the presents I found the plate that we left out for Santa that had his half eaten christmas cake. I decided that I would finish it off for him, yum yum!
I've also put the Santa photo that me and Emma had. As you can see, I was not too happy about sitting down.
I've got a big ouchie. It's so big that I have to wear a special thing on my arm to stop me from hurting it again.
Some of you might know that last week I fractured my arm. I had a fall from running around and I must've landed a bit wrong. My arm really hurt and I couldn't use it for a while. Eventually it stopped hurting and I could use it again.
But then I fell a few days later and it really hurt. Mummy took me to the doctor and then we met Daddy at the hospital where I had to have a special photo taken of my arm. I had to sit really still but I didn't want to!
Then we had to wait in another room at the hospital until we saw a doctor who put a special thing on my arm called a cast. It was really annoying at first and I got quite upset. But that could've been because I was very tired and hungry.
I've gotten used to it now and I've found that it's even a good spot to put stickers and draw on!
While we were going through some old toys we found what's called a harmonica. I wasn't sure what this was until I saw that you had to blow through it and it makes noise.
As you can see, I gave it a go and got the hang of it real quickly! I think it's pretty cool and I'm sure everyone likes the noises I can make.
Eventually I got a bit mixed up with it and it stopped working. When mummy told me to turn it around, I thought she meant me - whoops!
I love ice cream. It just so yummy and cold. But sometimes I don't eat it quick enough, then it get messy. It gets sticky too. I like it even better when I have a choice of ice creams, like this day at the park. Mummy and Daddy were both giving me yummy ice creams and I just couldn't choose so I had both!
Check out my sunnies. Do I look like a cool dude? Everything seems so much darker when I wear them. I don't think I could keep this on all the time, but I do like putting them on and taking them off.
I'm finally big enough to have my own set of keys. It's great having keys. I can go around to every lock I can find and try to open them. It doesn't always work but I'm sure if I keep trying I'll get there. Lucky there's plenty of locks to choose from in the garage!
A few weeks ago I got to play in a big inflatable jumping castle. I'm not sure how it all worked, and it was hard to walk around on, but it was fun. I found a little ball pit in the castle and discovered that I could slide down the step into the balls. Once I realised out how good this was I just kept on doing it!
Recently I was lucky enough to visit some farm animals! The Gymea fair was on and there was a special area with animals that kids could go into and pat them. I went in there with Daddy and Emma. The were a few lambs and goats there so I talked to them because I know what sound they make!
The man gave me a brush so I could go around to the animals and brush them. I was very good with it.
Then I got to have a little duck sit in my lap and even a bunny rabbit.
I realised that the animals must've been hungry so I picked up some of the hay and tried to feed it to them. They didn't really want it but I'm sure they liked my animal sounds.
Sometimes my days are so busy that I need to find time to just stop and relax. And this is how I do it. There's nothing like settling down on the couch, putting your feet up and enjoying an episode of Dora the Explorer.
Did you know that Dora is my favourite thing at the moment? I just love to say 'Dora' all the time, and I can spot anything with Dora on it from miles away!
Last weekend we went to visit my Godfather John. We went to a big park that is right next to his place. There were a lot of things I had to investigate so you could image how tired I was by the end of it!
Can you see Emma behind me on this rocker? She was making it really bouncy for me.
Then she decided to go climbing up the rock wall. I tried my hardest to catch up to her but I couldn't do it without my climbing gear.
My exploring brought me to this little area under the slide. I thought it was cool because I could hide under here and no one would be able to find me.
There were lots and lots of little black creatures crawling over the wood. Everyone was calling them 'ants'. They were interesting to watch until they started crawling on my hands and making me itchy.
This was my most important discovery. The water bubbler. It would fill up with water and I could splash it. Once Emma showed me how it worked I was able to turn it on by myself. I got very wet by the end of it but it was worth it.
Here's a video of me doing some splashing. I was very proud when I could turn it on by myself.
After so much exploring I needed so have a rest and a snack. Emma joined me on the top of the slide.
Then some people who were walking a puppy came past and they let me give it a pat. It was a nice puppy and I waved goodbye when they left.
I'm getting some more new teeth. If you ask me where they are I can show you too. They are at the back and they hurt sometimes but they'll make it a lot easier to chew my food (which I'm still a bit fussy over). Unfortunately they make me a bit sick, giving me sore ears and a snotty nose. But I won't let that stop me from running around and being cheeky!
It was Father's day a few weekends ago and that was fun because we all went to Hazelhurst for breakfast. Now don't ask me what Hazelhurst is but I do know that it has a big garden and a pond and I got to do some exploring!
I thought I'd show you a few of my photos that Daddy took recently. See my good eating with the cheese and tomato roll? I really like them!
Recently, when I woke up after my midday sleep, I walked outside to the balcony of my new home to find my very own sand and water table! It was a big surprise. I remember playing with sand and water at the park but now I can do it at home whenever I want. I had to investigate every part of it and sis was there to help me.
Now that I have sand and water at home I can make a big mess and even bring it into the house!
Some of you may have known that we have recently moved house. I wasn't real sure what was going on at the time but it seems I now sleep in a different room and this time it is with my big sis Emma! I'm still learning where everything is and now I have to find new hiding places.
After we moved there were lots of boxes around that Mummy had used to move stuff so of course I had to check them out for myself!
A few weeks ago I had a big day out where I got to see Thomas the tank engine! It was at a train museum in Thirlmere (don't ask me where that is, all I know is that it took a while to go there). We got to have a ride in Donald the steam train and we also saw Toby and Henry too.
Here's me and Daddy on board Donald. I got to stick my hands out the window. I also got a little wooden whistle that I could blow by myself, toot toot!
Do you like my cool Thomas shirt? I got it especially for this day.
And here's the real Thomas. We went into the drivers compartment and pulled the cord for the whistle. It was very loud.
I got pretty excited to see Henry. The trains are so much bigger than on the TV.
Then there was a Thomas ride that I went on with Emma and Daddy. It was a real train but much smaller.
It was fun to meet Thomas. I hope we can do this every year!
